Happy November! Well, here we are, half-way through one of my favorite months of the year. November marks the official start of the holiday season and a time of family, food, friends, football, and fun. Yes, this year’s holiday season is going to be different on all accounts, but there is always, ALWAYS something to be thankful for.
For those of you who know me, you know that my favorite thing has always been “Random Acts of Kindness.” Throughout my 10 years as a classroom teacher, this is something I have instilled upon my students each year. From our Thanksgiving basket projects, to toy donations to CHOP, to random pizza deliveries to our front-line workers, I am proud to say we have done a lot of good.
In honor of World Kindness Day which is today, November 13, I wanted to share some awesome random acts of kindness that are completely free!!! When I was a classroom teacher, I would always introduce our “random acts of kindness bingo board and as a class, every day,we would together do a random acts of kindness. Follow along and I hope this can become a tradition for you and your family.
And while we are on the topic of it -here are some of Teacher Time To Go’s Favorite Read Alouds:
Have a random act of kindness you enjoy? We’d love to hear about it! Please comment below!
