Jennifer Shemtob Starkie
Jennifer is the owner of Teacher Time To Go. She possesses 10 + years of classroom experience and has taught in the Lower Merion School District and the Philadelphia School District.
She graduated from the University of Delaware where she was a D1 Varsity Soccer Player. She holds a Masters of Education and is Triple Certified in Elementary Education, Special Education, and Early Childhood Education. She has her Reading/Writing/Literacy Certificate, Instructional Technology Certificate, and Classroom Management Certificate.
Jennifer is a certified Instructional Coach and leads the mentoring, training and development of the tutors on her team. Jennifer is an active member of the National Tutoring Association, and is involved in many Professional Networking Groups and Charity Initiatives.
Jennifer lives in the Blue Bell area with her husband and daughter. In her free time, she enjoys staying active, hosting/entertaining family and friends, DIY projects, and traveling.
Client Relations Manager
Sarah has the key role of connecting our wonderful clients with their tutor. She monitors their success and ensures client and tutor satisfaction. She developed our Executive Function Workshop Series and leads the Middle School section of the workshop.
She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from West Chester University. Prior to joining our team, she worked in all areas of Pre-K and early elementary including teaching, managing, and as a curriculum lead. She earned the Apple Teacher Award for excellent use of technology in the classroom.
She lives in West Chester with her fiancé. In her free time, she enjoys watching Philly sports teams, exploring nearby nature preserves and trying new restaurants in town.
Director of Recruitment
Rachel’s roles include the recruitment of tutors, interviewing, onboarding, and training the team. Rachel connects with local school districts and Colleges/Universities to ensure that we have the top talent.
Rachel graduated from Western Michigan University and is a certified teacher in Elementary and Special Education, with a Master’s Degree in Special Education with a focus on Autism Spectrum Disorder. She is a Google-certified educator and a Crisis Prevention Interventionist. Rachel has worked as a classroom teacher on many different levels and has served as a New Teacher Coordinator and Inclusion Facilitator.
Rachel lives in Dublin, PA with her husband, 3 children and dog, Waldo. In her free time, she enjoys reading and is usually found experimenting in the kitchen.
Andrea handles all the behind-the-scenes details that keep Teacher Time To Go running smoothly. Her responsibilities include database maintenance, family billing, website management, and getting our awesome new tutors ready for action.
Andrea has over 20 years of experience in a broad range of environments from corporate retail to local non-profits. She is skilled at focusing on details while moving projects from inception through to completion. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Liberty University.
She lives in Wayne with her husband and two children. Creating and growing things brings her joy. She loves the outdoors, so you’ll usually find her in her garden or sitting in the sun with a cup of coffee.
Social Media and Marketing Coordinator
Bella handles the social media and marketing for Teacher Time To Go. Her roles include creating content, sharing on our various platforms, generating leads, and growing our community followers. Bella helps with the expansion of our market and territories and finds creative ways to elevate our brand.
Bella currently attends Cabrini University majoring in Digital Communication and Social Media.
In her free time, Bella has a radio show and enjoys movie nights and late nights on the beach. She enjoys visiting the aquarium and traveling.
