Every third Monday of January, we recognize and honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by remembering his courageous actions and by giving back to the community. Please take MLK Day as a chance to get the ball rolling on your community service endeavors for the year!
You can also use this national holiday as a teachable moment for your kids by explaining civic responsibility and the importance of helping others.
Below are just a few of the many local opportunities to partake in. Please remember that while this day is a great time to help, these organizations need support all year round!
