At Teacher Time To Go, we focus on more than just academics. This month, we’re also talking with students about kindness, respect, and including others! These are skills that matter just as much as math and reading.
You can support this at home by:
- Praising Kindness: Point out and celebrate kind, respectful behavior when you see it.
- Teaching Inclusion: Encourage kids to include others and stand up for kindness.
- Modeling Compassion: Show kindness and respect in how you speak to others—kids notice everything.
- Encouraging Empathy: Help kids imagine how someone else might feel in a situation.
